HIGHLIGHTS OF DAILY MANAGER®

GENERAL ACCOUNTING SYSTEM

Even though DAILY MANAGER GENERAL ACCOUNTING was designed for ease of use, this package is intended to record information and produce reports that can aid even the most sophisticated and demanding user.

No theoretical limits to the number of organizations, the number of accounts within an organization, or the number of transactions that can be applied to each account. Only limited by physical system constraints such as disk storage.

Can be used as simply a one-write entry system or much more!

Built-in Accounts Payable system includes:

Check printing,

Vendor Balances (balance forward or open-item) and History,

Transaction (voucher) tracking (by job/phase if needed)

with automatic distribution to General Ledger,

Payments/credits/discounts can be applied against specific transactions,

Transaction lists, Aged Reporting, ability to track retainages, and much more.

These features are available as selectable options to the user and operate at several levels, depending on the needs and sophistication of the the user..

Allows up to two years active, with posting in any period within those two years. A new year can be opened WITHOUT CLOSING THE PRIOR YEAR. Transactions can be applied to BOTH YEARS. No problem for GENERAL ACCOUNTING. At any time, prior year can be closed out, while still continuing processing of new year.

Accounts can be set up as summary accounts and have an unlimited number of "sub" accounts totaling into them.

Allow for departmental or cost center (or profit center, project, job or product line) tracking, an additional digits are available for detail codes.

Job Costing options are also available.

Allows you to reconcile checking accounts, credit card accounts, etc. directly against the monthly statement.

Allows 3 types of budgeting control, including no budgeting, budgeting tracking but without restrictions (i.e., warnings only), and full budget control.

Upper and/or lower limits can be set, where desired, for any account balance. System will keep any transaction from going over or below limits.

Consolidated reporting of multiple organizations can be performed, even if account numbers are not alike.

A history (annual and period) is maintained for each account, for not only the prior year, but preceding years that you have been using GENERAL ACCOUNTING. This means that two, three, five and more years can be referenced and comparisons made.

Types of organizations that GENERAL ACCOUNTING can handle and for which special reports can be generated include:

CORPORATION

PARTNERSHIP

PROPRIETORSHIP

PERSONAL

JOINT VENTURE

NON-PROFIT (including religious)

GOVERNMENTAL

Financial reports can be automatically directed to disk and accessed by a word processor. (This is especially helpful in allowing insertion of notes and for report customization.)

Reports are generated using AICPA guidelines.

Report printing controls can be adjusted for continuous forms or for single sheet feeding.

Data kept active on all organizations include: month-by-month balances

Month-by-month balances (current and prior year)

Year-to-date balances (current and prior year)

Month-by-month budgets (current and prior year)

Complete transaction audit trail

Since the data is stored in an industry standard format, the knowledgeable user can create his/her own customized reports via standard data management packages.

Spreadsheet and word processing information can be easily obtained from GENERAL ACCOUNTING by the user.

Multi-level password protection.

System can be set up so that unauthorized clerical personnel can be restricted from obtaining reports and/or from viewing account balances during update, etc.

Because data is in an industry-common format, it is relatively easy to extract data and transfer to spreadsheets, such as Lotus 1-2-3, Excel and Quattro Pro.

On-site setup and training can be provided, as well as economical and rapid response remote support.
